I believe that life is an amazing adventure.  I had the privilege of growing up in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Missoula, Montana and going to college in the equally breathtaking Pacific Northwest at Pacific Lutheran University where I participated in several student leadership roles as well as earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

After graduating, I moved to the beaches of southeast Florida to begin my career as a Registered Nurse.  After two years of Psychosocial nursing at a brand new VA Hospital, I was recruited to Palm Beach Atlantic University to develop a comprehensive Health & Wellness Center and work with student leaders.

While providing health services to our campus, I developed a one-stop-shopping wellness center, helped create a counseling center using the master's program students fulfilling clinical hours, developed wellness programming initiatives, led student medical missions trips and worked with our student leadership development experiences.

After completing a master's degree in Human Resource Development and receiving Employee of the Year, I was promoted to Dean of Student Development where my leadership extended to include Residential Life, on-campus Student Development Programming and overseeing the student discipline system.

In 2000, my husband and I started attending Christ Fellowship Church and quickly became involved in one of America's fastest growing churches (4,000 weekend attendance at the time) and an early adopter of Multisite campuses and online church.  I was recruited to join the staff team to help lead in a variety of ministries including Creative Programming and Production, First Impressions Teams (Greeters, Traffic, Logistics, etc), Discipleship Strategies, Communications Department, Building Projects and Multisite Expansion.

A family illness took us to Akron, Ohio for a few years where I served as the Director of Advancement at Grace Church, a wonderful multisite church family in the greater Akron area.  While helping with overall church strategy and staff development, I was recruited back to Christ Fellowship to serve as the first Executive Director of Multisite Ministries.  During my 6 year tenure, I was also the Creator/Director of the Kaleo School of Leadership, a custom14-month leadership development program for high-capacity leaders that has hundreds of graduates impacting our church and local communities.

In 2016, I transitioned from traditional employment to focus on helping other leaders develop themselves and their teams through writing, designing training programs and consulting independently with select businesses and churches.  In addition, I am a Director with Leadership Network (HUB:Multisite) helping multisite churches multiply their impact and influence as well as a Soul Care Coach with Replenish Ministries.
